This report analyzes the impact in 2019-20 of Ontario families’ contributions to provincial government revenues and the benefits they received from provincial government spending. Using 2019-20 as a representative year, the report estimates how many families were net beneficiaries from provincial government revenue collection and spending, and how many were net contributors.
